How does the nozzle work?
The nozzle has a Rotor Unit that when water is applied under pressure, the Rotor disburses the water in a very fine mist (fog).

What are the advantages of a fog pattern from the IFI nozzle?
The fog pattern is three (3) layers thick. This reduces the radiant heat from any fire source by 90%.

How much does the IFI First Attack Nozzle weigh?
The weight varies. It depends on what nozzle is ordered. The IFI's 4 foot nozzle weighs 14 lbs.

The Fog created by the IFI First Attach Nozzle, approximately what size are the droplets?
The droplets are the key to the effectiveness of the nozzle. The droplets are in microns. This allows the droplets to convert from a liquid to a gas almost instantly. (Steam conversion).
